I work in 6 hours for a random 4 hour shift at the Hospital and then who knows??? The past week has been so emotionally (and physically) taxing I wish I could just sleep for awhile but I NEVER CAN (exhibit A: now).

so this past weekend i opened “the pajama game” at the henegar center and after the shows, people came up to me and pretty consistently gave me the best compliment i can ever get after performing, which is that “you remind me of carol burnett”….

carol burnett is what made me want to do plays and ESPECIALLY musicals (had i not heard/scene videos of her as winnifred i might have stuck with straight plays?)and i basically grew up watching her show. i guess something that’s really important to me is being funny.

all the women i learned from:

1. carol burnett

2. gilda radner

3. lucille ball

4. madeline kahn

and for my sick, current sense of humor in everyday life i cannot get enough of kathy griffin.

um so anyway. life? i have been busy with school and work like always. i actually have my economics midterm in 5 hours before work before rehearsal BEFORE another all nighter for my anatomy test tuesday morning. can’t wait till this week is overrrr
